#004 ~ Very Low Budget ~ Friday, February 18th, 2005

So here's the next one with a recurrance of the "I'm too cheap" joke.  I really don't re-use jokes over and over again until they're not funny anymore.  Really.  Anyhoo, I really like how the face in the first frame turned out.  I wanted to make it look like he was rolling his eyes and so I played around with the position of them and on a whim I decided to add the eyebrows.  Those eyebrows really are what make it such an excellent face.  Amazing how some trivial changes can completely change the look of things.  I'm really not as happy with the expression in frame three...  I wanted it to look like he had bowed his head and was looking down, but I think all I succeeded in doing was making him look deformed...  Oh well.  I don't think that it detracts all that much from the comic itself so I'll leave it at that and see you the next time I update.
